i think syllables land on hard letters. so in words like “every” “ev” would be 1 and “er” would be 2 and “y” would be 3???? i think ?? ?? ? ?? ? ? ?

Basically if you say a word and clap along with it every clap is a syllable. Like Yo yo is two syllables: Yo (clap) yo.

BUT I DON’T KNOW WHERE TO COUNT SOMETIMES this is why i am a disgrace at haikus you guys
