Anonymous asked: different anon, piggy packing off of that anon you just answered. some people might want to make it explicitly clear that their muse is 'straight' or what have you. there have been numerous occasions for myself where i've stated that my character is x sexuality but others have come and attempted to push for something else that i personally dont want/character doesn't want. it's a way they want to get the picture clear that their character/themself isn't interested and wants it to be known.
again, wording. you might not be thinking about it, but the way you word things can paint two whole different things. even saying ‘i play my character as X’ comes across very differently than ‘this is a X-free zone’.
(also don’t think this is much the case bc that’s waaaaay more likely to happen to male characters since tumblr has this obsession with m/m — waaaaaaaaaaaay less so with female characters).
